Roderick Ahnon lived near China Town in Lae.
Ruth Scherer (adopted) and Cathy Scherer were sisters who lived at Balob also. They too came from the US.
Matilda Jacobs lived near China Town.
Linda Dickson was the daughter of the man who owned Dickson Doors located at Voco Point.
Debbie Noske is a fellow Aussie who lived at the Lutheran Mission, Ampo (outside Lae). She married someone from the Australian Armed Forces and lives in Australia.
Jimmy Lumme lived on my bus route somewhere past Hotel Cecil.
Louis, Robert, Ricky and Joseph all caught the same bus as me to school and lived in or near China Town.
I (Cheryl Pech) was born at Madang and spent all my Primary and High School years in Lae. I attended the Australian National University and now live and work in Canberra. I have two children.
