Bob’s parents’ wedding 13/3/1943: Robert Francis Clarke to Olive Minnie Parsons during WW2 (see below).

Private Robert Francis Clarke QX12802 was on leave from the Middle East at the time of his marriage. He was sent to New Guinea within days of the wedding, where his best man was killed in the Battle of Lae. He is buried in the war cemetery there, along with a couple more mates.
