You might wonder what these photos are doing in my wedding album. As my sister Diane said in her speech on the day, our parents have been an outstanding example to us all our lives of what a marriage should be. Mum isn’t with us anymore: she died of lymphatic leukaemia in March2000, but she deserves the place of honour in this album along with my dad.
