Notice Board Message from Wendy Clarke (ne้ Phillips) The 2009 Lae-Markham reunion at Broncos Leagues Club, Fulcher Road, Red Hill, Brisbane on Sunday 4th October was a resounding success - an absolutely magical day. Many people present hadn't seen each other for 40 years or more, and the auditorium echoed with cries of recognition, accompanied by heaps of hugs and occasional happy tears. You can check out the 2009 guest list HERE to see who was there, also the 2009 SOUVENIR GUEST BOOKLET, REUNION 2009 PHOTO ALBUM 1 & REUNION 2009 PHOTO ALBUM 2 on HP Snapfish, where you can buy prints online (you will have to join/log in first). The albums are also on my FACEBOOK page. As all who were present know, this one was also my swansong - it has been a lot of work to organize the two reunions I have hosted, and I am now handing responsibility for any future Lae reunions to the Gold Coast PNG reunion committee, who plan to hold a Lae reunion on alternate years to their own Bikpela Pati for all of New Guinea. They have a whole committee to handle things, plus major sponsors to help with the expense. The plans for their version of the Lae reunion will no doubt eventually make it to their website (click on logo below), and onto their FACEBOOK site.
