Message from the webmaster:

This site is still under construction, and will be added to or altered as more material becomes available. Though the focus is on Coronation Primary at present, I'd like to extend a welcome to all ex-Lae students. If you were at school in Lae at any time from 1951 to 1975 and have a story to tell or student-related documents or photos (class photos, birthday parties, fancy dress, sports, etc. - anything in which a group of Lae Primary students is represented - please email them to me at:

wendyemc@optusnet.com.au

Many thanks to those who have already contributed to these pages; the site can only be as good as you help me make it. Please pass the word on to any ex-Lae students of your acquaintance - if enough interest is generated the next step will be to try and organize a reunion, possibly as part of the biennial PNG reunion already held at Southport, Queensland. However, I am open to any and all suggestions.

  • That's all for now, folks, unless you want to visit my new features - a LaeKidz forum. and chat room. If you have any messages/upcoming events etc. you'd like to post to the forum, please do so. (You will need to register first with a user name and password to keep spammers at bay). Also, if you haven't done so already, why not take the time to sign  my guest book to let your fellow ex-students/classmates know you're still around. I have had to start moderating entries due to spamming, so they won't appear straight away, but all genuine entries WILL appear as soon as I have vetted them.
