In Grade 6, in 1960, he transferred to what later became Bulae (next to Eric Woo’s Store, later Andersons Supermarket), and was one of the first batch of students ever to inhabit Bulae. After finishing school, Xavier worked for ABCO, which was taken over by F.H. Stevens, then Mayne Nickless. He now owns a restaurant named Gypsy’s in Shekou, a bayside suburb of Shenzhen, China.
