Elizabeth appears in the 1861 census, living in Back lane, Mevagissey, with her husband, Peter, and three surviving children, John James and Catherine. James does not appear with the family in the 1871 census, and I can find no trace of him in the 1871 or any subsequent censuses. Peter, now listed as a woodcutter, and Elizabeth are living at The Meadow, Mevagissey with their seven-year-old grandson, John, in the 1881 census, their last appearance. It is likely that both of them died before the 1991 census was taken.
