James Parsons was the first (?) child born to William and Mary Parsons. James was christened on his wedding day to Mary Beagley, a girl from Farnham, Surrey. Mary Beagley was the third child born to Thomas and Mary Beagley. The Beagley family had been living in the Farnham, Surrey area of England for many generations. James and Mary Parsons lived in the Hungry Hill area of Farnham and had nine children, all of whom lived to adulthood. Mary Parsons lived until 1865, when she died at the age of 66 years from "Disease of the Heart". James and Mary's daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Parsons (nee Winslade), was present at Mary's bedside when she passed away at her home in Hungry Hill, Farnham. James Parsons died after his wife, but I haven't found a death registration for him yet. James worked as a general laborer in the Farnham area.
