Elizabeth produced a base born son, John who was baptised on 5th Jan 1770 at St Mary's Church, Mildenhall with Red Lodge, Suffolk. She died in the following Sept ( still unmarried ) and is buried at the same church. John's baptism record states:- ' that John Haylett is the reputed father' although we do not have his view of that allegation. Had it been true and had he married poor Elizabeth, we should all have been Hayletts and not Mizons !!
