bullet  General Notes:

by Wendy Clarke, nee Phillips, wife of Robert George Clarke

According to his Death Certificate, Robert Ransby Clarke came to Australia from the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, about 1826, when he was around 10 years old. His death Certificate also states he was 48 years old at the time of his marriage to Mary Ann Hines. There is, however, an entry on the IGI, no source information available, and an accompanying LDS pedigree resource file submitted by Laurel Nooyen of Brisbane, Australia, which is indisputably the same person as our Robert Ransby, and which gives his date of birth as 20 Sep 1825.

by Wendy Clarke, nee Phillips, wife of Robert George Clarke

Marriage information obtained from Robert Ransby's Death Certificate, which is a bit ambiguous. My interpretation is that the marriage may have taken place at either Ipswich or Stanley River.
