We miss you, Shell, especially the good times, and in spite of everything there were plenty of those. I've said most of what I want to say in Shell's page on my web site, and in the poem I wrote her, "Sonnet to Shell", so I won't repeat myself here.

Michelle's ashes were scattered out at sea off Sutton's Beach the weekend following her death. The surf lifesavers from the club there took us out in the rubber ducky. We hold a commemorative barbeque in the foreshore park every year on the weekend closest to her death, with much laughter and memories of the good times we had together.
